AFL 2007-2008 Presentation Evening |

The AFL Presentation evening commenced on the 19th of May 2008
only two days before Legend Azhar Ali was set to leave the club
and start a new errand abroad. Indeed the Chairman would be
missed, however Asianos ensured they made it a night to
remember. It was quiet inevitable to see super star Zubair
Haleem pick up both Player of the Year and Golden Boot Award,
and much to the delight of the team Manager Zahir Ahmed picked
up two manager of the month awards and deservedly Manager of the
year award too. Not quiet convincing to see Yasin Patel
neglected to the much favoured Marvin Turner of Bulwer for the
Young Player of the year award, Asianos celebrated two days on
the trot with team dinner gatherings and Afters for desert.
Azhar always intended to bring unity and portrayed everyone to
fill each others shoes, the Asianos team ensured this was
completed in his footsteps.
