Facts:
Azhar Ali has been
one of the core founders of Asianos F.C since 1995. A
great individual and an even better friend.

A'slaam
all
I have known Azhar for many years now and remember
growing up playing football at Kelmscott with him and
some of the senior Asianos gang.
No doubt Azhar was a good footballer in his heyday, and
his commitment to Asianos is second to none.
I think the word legend is used to loosely but Azhar Ali
is a truly an Asianos legend. I truly believe the reason
Asianos have been around for a long time is due to
Azhar's
commitment and as Speedy said "never die attitude".
Asianos are the best local asian team and that's because
in Azhar Ali we have a very strong foundation.
On a personal level, Azhar i thank you for your
encouragement and commitment in my time at Asianos and
wish you the all the best for your new life.
Inshallah all works out best for you and your family.

Facts:
Azhar Al has
been given several nicknames from his fellow
team mates, much to his contributions against
the opposition with
side line debates and conflicts, a prime example
would be Forest Gate this season one to
remember.. |

It is now 04.14am on
the day ive heard this news, since finishing work today
(when cheeko phoned me to confirm the news) I have
travelled from north to west then through central and
now just back from south London to the east end i set
out to find something that would make sense of this
sudden physical absence of the one person who would give
us sunshine on a cloudy day with his comments, i met
people from all walks of life and I actually asked them
if they could make any sense, one particular female sat
there and heard my story fully and told me of a song
which might help us get thru, please can everyone log
onto you tube and watch Rihanna's video 'take a bow' if
you listen to the lyrics carefully woooow it worked for
her but im not built like that.... unfortunately my
fellow comrades i can only think of two words at this
present time i hope they will be sufficient for now
until I can think of something: 'IM SPEECHLESS'..(Tahir

Facts:
Azhar has
been an Asianos player through and through and
always enjoyed his football, when it came to
arrangements Azhar was the first point of
contact for every individual, a essential entity
for all and an even bigger person at heart
within the team and community. |

The sun may be shining but an uncertain cloud hangs over
the future of asianos.of course as we all know azhar is
my cousin but has been more like a brother to me over
the years. he has been like a brother to everyone.
asianos runs through azhars blood and one thing for sure
asianos fc wil never be the same. i was lucky to play a
few games with azhar (dunga) ali and his love for the
beautiful game is second to none. when i first joined
asianos success was hard to come by but never did azhar
turn to 'ringers'or 'outsiders'. this is the reason why
so much of the recent success is due to the mans
attitude. a committed familyman azhar ali has never
turned his back on anyone who needed help and has been a
fantastic role model for everyone to follow. our local
community will be devastated with the departure of azhar
as so many people have a great amount of respect for
him. he deserves so much credit and applause as he has
put so much of his own time to make sure we can all
come out on a sunday and enjoy playing football. one of
the things i love about asianos is we are like a big
family andthat is due to azhar as he has matured all of
us into this asianos family.
As
speedy said this is the biggest turning point in this
famous club's history and i truly hope for all his hard
work and commitment asianos will stay great. as we move
onto bigger things it is a shame azhar will not be there
on a daily basis
and the day he leaves will be a sad day for everyone who
has ever met azhar ali. cheekos theory on the 'glue' and
'pritt stick' may bemuse a lot of people but
believe me it is so true. he has kept this club together
and he has done for his love of asianos. im sure there
are plenty of times when azhar could have folded
asianos but he believed success was not too far away and
he turned out to be right. thanks for all the hard work
azhar
we all wish you the best azhar and we truly will miss
you bro.
A true legend. (Adnan

achievements rewarded with all the hard work and
efforts he has put in. He had a dream to ensure
Asianos become one of the most successful clubs
throughout east London and maybe one day beyond
these boundaries, a dream come true. |

Salaam boys,
What a truly sad day in
Asiano’s history after the
most successful year, when I
1st joined the 1st
team as a toddler in 2005/06
brother Azhar or ‘uncle’ as
our new goalkeeper Bilz
describes him helped me a
great deal taken me to the
side calming me down when I
got too mouthy (we all know
that happens a lot lol) the
Azhar/Asiano effect has made
me an Asiano boy forever, no
matter who I play for I’d
always be and Asiano boy at
heart because of people like
Az.
Azhars an irreplaceable
character in our ranks, his
presence wont just be missed
on and off the pitch but
also behind the scenes with
all his hardwork such as
ringing teams up, pranking
adris (binx) after beating
LMCC, getting sharky banned
from the league, telling the
forest gate captain he’s
going to kill him, that’s
all in a days work for Az.
Where do we go from here..?
Who else is going to let me
rip boomas sl55 amg? Our
secret ;-)
If we all have half as much
as passion as Az we will go
a long way boys.
Thanks for all your help
Azhario and good luck!
You’ll never walk alone.
P.S. give the clampers a
rest there, and you might
wanna lay of the sheesa!

Haleem,
